Metric Time privacy policy

Metric Time, shown as Clock (Metric) on Android, is an offline clock and time-conversion app developed by Hidden Packet Pty Ltd. The app does not connect to the internet, and Hidden Packet does not collect, receive, sell, or share personal or sensitive data through it.

Effective 13 September 2026.

Information kept on your device

Metric Time uses your device's time and timezone to display clocks and calculate conversions. Widget display preferences are kept on your device in Android's protected app storage.

Retention and deletion

Removing a widget deletes its display preferences. Clearing Metric Time's app storage or uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data. Timers and alarms created in your Clock app are managed and deleted there. Hidden Packet holds no server-side app data to delete.

Internet access

Metric Time has no Internet permission and does not make network connections. It contains no advertising, analytics, accounts, or third-party tracking services.

External services

When you choose to start a timer or set an alarm, Metric Time passes the selected duration or alarm time to your phone's Clock app. That app, your browser and Google Play operate under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If a future Metric Time release changes these practices, this policy will be updated before that release is published.
